A young woman marries an older, wealthy gentleman, unaware of the secrets his castle holds. As she uncovers the truth about her husband, his previous wives recount their histories with him. Bluebeard’s Wives is a new gothic horror play with chamber music based on the french fairytale. It explores romantic love, abuse, and the messy dynamics of intimacy.
